Punjab police officer slaps woman in Taxila

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Punjab Police, named Imtiaz Nasir, was caught slapping a woman in a viral video.
According to Rawalpindi police, the incident happened outside the court when Taxila police reached to arrest a pocket picker, identified as Baseer Khan.
Upon apprehending the suspect, Baseer's mother showed resistance to the police, in return, ASI Imtiaz slapped her and shoved a woman to the road.
Taking notice of the incident, CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani suspended the police officer and initiated an inquiry against him.
In a statement, Hamdani said no police officer is allowed to inflict ill-treatment on citizens as it will not be tolerated.
The top police officer directed Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar to submit a report in a week.
