A firing incident occurred at a car showroom after the owner allegedly refused to pay Rs5 million in extortion in Karachi. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.

According to details, unidentified individuals opened fire on a car showroom located on New MA Jinnah Road in Karachi.

The FIR states that the extortionists demanded Rs5 million and claimed to be members of a gang war group.

The showroom owner reported that two motorcycle-riding assailants carried out the firing and a short while later he received an extortion message.

Several vehicles parked inside the showroom were also damaged during the incident.

A case has been registered at the Jamshed Quarters Police Station against unknown suspects, while further investigations are underway to ensure the arrest of those involved.
