Anchorperson Jasmeen Manzoor accuses ex-husband of domestic violence

Senior anchorperson Jasmeen Manzoor accused her ex-husband of alleged domestic violence. She shared disturbing images that showed signs of physical assault and torture on her body.

The shocking revelation surfaced on July 16, when she posted pictures on X, claiming she was brutally assaulted by her ex-husband.

Among the images was a screenshot from his mobile gallery, which indicated that the incident took place over a month ago, with the photo dated June 4.

“This is me, gifted by my ex-husband,” she wrote, adding, “To all those who stood up for a criminal like you.”

Jasmeen hinted that she does not intend to pursue legal action against her ex-husband, stating, “Yes, this is my story, my life destroyed by a violent man. I leave my justice to Allah.”

The journalist hesitated for a long time before revealing her ordeal publicly. She chose to do so, hoping to unite people against "this kind of behaviour and for the government authorities to open their eyes".

She described her former spouse’s actions as 'cowardly,' saying, “When you got a woman, you show your true colours. You’re just a coward, especially for doing this at a time when my mother had just passed away.”

Jasmeen also alleged that, despite his violent behaviour, her ex-husband is living a luxurious life while working at Jinnah Hospital.

Before, Jasmeen Manzoor, TV host Ayesha Jahanzeb, had also made allegations of severe domestic abuse by her husband. He was arrested at the time but was later forgiven by Ayesha.
