Speeding car hits scooty in Karachi, woman killed, another injured

Two women riding a scooty were hit by a speeding car, which resulted in the death of one and injuries to the other in Karachi.

The incident occurred in Karachi’s Gadap area, near Danbah Goth.

According to police, a high-speed car struck a scooter carrying two women near Danbah Goth on the Super Highway, causing both to fall into a nearby stream beneath a bridge.

One woman was killed in the accident, while the other sustained serious injuries. The driver has been arrested and the vehicle impounded.

Police identified the deceased as Samra and the injured woman as Rabia. Both were cousins and worked as teachers at a coaching center in Bahadurabad.

Authorities stated that the driver, who is licensed, runs a construction business.
