Two infants found abandoned on garbage dump in Jamshoro, police constable adopts baby girl

JAMSHORO: An unidentified rickshaw passenger allegedly abandoned two young children on a garbage dump in Jamshoro and fled the scene.

According to reports, the children, a one-and-a-half-year-old boy and a seven-month-old girl, were found with their hands and feet tied.

After receiving information about the incident, police took the children into protective custody and shifted them to Kotri Police Station.

Later, police constable Jamila expressed her willingness to take custody of the infant girl, while local resident Shahzad Memon offered to take responsibility for the one-and-a-half-year-old boy.

Following the completion of the necessary legal formalities, police handed the two children over to them.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
