WATCH: Man slaps armed dacoit to foil robbery bid in Gujranwala

In an act of bravery, a man ended up playing the role of law enforcer when he slapped an armed dacoit to foil a robbery attempt in Gujranwala.

According to the details, the incident took place at Bajwa Road in Gujranwala on April 5 (Friday).

The Closed-Circuit Television footage of the heroic act also went viral on social media, in which the man could be seen confronting the bandits.

As per the viral video, two muggers riding a motorbike intercepted Hidyataullah at Bajwa Road with the intent to rob him.

As soon as one of the robbers came close to Hidayatullah, he bravely slapped the dacoit, who in return opened fire at the man.

However, the hero of the incident luckily remained safe from the firing.

After the failed robbery bid, the bandits managed to flee the scene.
