Social media is praising Pakistani debutant pacer Aamer Jamal for taking six wickets against Australia in the first innings of the Perth Test.
Aamer Jamal’s 6/111 were the third-best bowling figures in an innings for a Pakistan pacer on debut.
In his second spell, the bowler was taken for runs at the back of some attacking stroke play from David Warner and Steve Smith. However, he struck in his third spell to remove Travis Head and Warner. Jamal bowled to his field, even as Shan Masood’s placements worked well for Pakistan.
Australia were bowled out for 487 runs thanks to the best bowling figures of Aamer Jamal. Pakistan batted for 53 overs in the afternoon to reach 132-2 at stumps. Abdullah Shafique top-scored with 42 as the visitors trail by 355 runs.
