Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has registered for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11, as the registration process for overseas players continues.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), foreign players can register for PSL 11 until January 20.
Mustafizur’s registration comes after he was released from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. Indian media reports have claimed that his release followed pressure from right-wing Hindu groups, though no official statement has been issued by the IPL or the franchise involved.
Following these developments, Bangladesh Cricket Board officials have reportedly raised concerns over sending the national team to India for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, seeking relocation of matches to a neutral venue.
Several Bangladeshi cricketers have registered for PSL 11. Sources say nearly 10 players from Bangladesh have completed the registration process.
Among them are Taskin Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan, Rishad Hossain and Tanzid Hasan, alongside Mustafizur Rahman.
