During the India vs Pakistan match at Dubai International Stadium, a temporary leadership change was observed after Indian captain Rohit Sharma left the field for undisclosed reasons.

In his absence, vice-captain Shubman Gill stepped in to lead the team, actively adjusting the field and directing his teammates.

This unexpected shift came during a high-pressure phase of the match, prompting concerns among fans about the cause of Rohit’s prolonged absence, with some speculating a potential injury, though no official confirmation has been provided.

Pakistan, batting first in the high-stakes Champions Trophy match at Dubai Cricket Stadium, managed to post 188/5 in 42 overs as they struggled to set a competitive target against India.

Indian bowlers Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took key wickets, registering a breakthrough for India during a period when Pakistan’s innings appeared unstable. Meanwhile, Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah remain at the crease in a bid to stabilize the innings and build a recovery.
