Muhammad Asif from Pakistan has won the title of IBSF Men’s World Snooker Championship 2024, defeating Iran's Ali Gharahgozlou in an exciting final match.
Asif, who is now a three-time World Champion, displayed remarkable skill and strategy throughout the competition. He triumphed over Ali with a score of 5-3: 70-25, 7-87(84), 82(56)-8, 106(106)-08, 82-12, 43-91(58), 0-118, 93(80)-4.
This win marks Asif’s third title in the IBSF World Championship, reinforcing his status as one of the top snooker players in the world.
The 42-year-old overcame Iran’s Ali Gharegozloo in the final the current holder of the Asian Snooker 2024 title and Mongolia World Cup 2024.
Meanwhile, the World Masters Championship is currently taking place in Doha.
