"Our pride is gone": Father of Mir Raza Ali seeks justice after son's tragic death

The father of 25-year-old businessman Mir Raza Ali has appealed for justice after his son was found dead a day after he went missing, saying the young entrepreneur had no known enemies or personal disputes and was looking forward to his wedding.

Speaking to the media, Mir Hussain, the victim's father, said his son was a hardworking businessman who also continued his education.

According to him, Mir Raza had returned home around 3:30 p.m., left his car parked outside, and told his mother that he would be back within ten minutes before leaving the house.

"He normally went out to play paddle tennis in the evening. His business operated later in the day, so there was nothing unusual when he left," the father said.

When Mir Raza did not return, the family contacted the police and reported him missing. They later registered an FIR.

The following morning, his body was recovered within the jurisdiction of Johar Police Station.

The father said investigators are still awaiting the victim's call detail records (CDR), while the medico-legal and post-mortem reports have yet to be released.

He also claimed that his son's body bore visible injuries, including wounds to the head, while a gunshot injury was found near the heart. The family's mobile phone has not yet been recovered.

Mir Hussain rejected speculation circulating on social media regarding his son's personal life, insisting that Mir Raza had no romantic relationship or personal controversy.

"People are spreading false rumours about a girl. I am ready to state in writing that there was nothing of that sort," he said.

The grieving father added that his son was preparing for his wedding, which was scheduled for August 30, and that the family had been happily making arrangements for the ceremony.

"He was our only son, our pride. No one can put a value on such a loss," he said emotionally.

Appealing to the government, Mir Hussain called for a transparent investigation into the case.

"We only want justice. We want a fair inquiry so that those responsible are identified and punished. My son deserves justice," he said.
