Car runs over people waiting for iftar in Makkah, 1 killed

A tragic incident took place in Makkah when a speeding car ran over people gathered for iftari table killing one person and injuring 21 others.

Saudi Arabian authorities said that an iftari table was set outside Zehra Umrah Mosque in Makkah.

Some people were sitting outside the mosque for iftari when a speeding car ran over them .

This incident has killed one and injured 21 people.

The injured were shifted to the hospital where some are said to be in critical condition. The identity of the injured and deceased is yet to be known. 

Meanwhile, the authorities have kicked-off probe into the deadly accident.
