Saudi Arabia is currently facing a severe flood situation due to heavy rains.
Makkah, including the Grand Mosque, has been heavily affected, with roads submerged in water, causing daily life for residents and pilgrims to be severely disrupted.
According to foreign media reports, the intense rainfall has led to flooding in several cities across Saudi Arabia, with roads completely filled with water.
The city of Makkah has been impacted the most by the floods, where sudden inundation has thrown daily life into chaos, submerging streets under water.
Reports indicate that the heavy rainfall has caused water to accumulate around the Kaaba.
Since October 27, the severe rains have overwhelmed the city's drainage system.
Videos of the heavy rain in Makkah have been shared on social media. On October 27, Hussein Al-Qahtani from the National Center of Meteorology warned that areas such as Ha'il, Qassim, Asir, and Jazan would experience the heaviest rainfall.
There is also an expectation of heavy rains in Makkah, Medina, Riyadh, and other regions, especially over the weekend.
