Helicopter full of tourists crashes in India's Uttarakhand

A helicopter crashed in India’s Uttarakhand state early Thursday, resulting in the deaths of six individuals on board, while one person was injured, according to Indian media reports.
The helicopter was carrying five female tourists who lost their lives in the incident, along with the 60-year-old pilot. The lone survivor was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
According to reports, the helicopter was en route from Dehradun to the Harsil helipad when the crash occurred.

"May God grant peace to the souls of those who died in the accident and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss," said Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, mourning the tragic loss of lives.
Authorities launched an investigation into the incident. Meanwhile, administrative officials arrived at the crash site to assess the situation and oversee rescue operations.
