India Prime Minister Narendra Modi flew through Pakistan’s airspace on Monday while traveling from New Delhi to France; however, he did not extend any goodwill message to Pakistan.

 

Aviation sources revealed Modi was flying to Paris on a special flight India One, which entered Pakistani’s airspace near the border city Lahore.

The aircraft, a Boeing 777, remained in Pakistani airspace for approximately 41 minutes at an altitude of 34,000 feet.

As per sources, the Indian aircraft  entered Afghanistan’s airspace from KP’s Parachinar. However, due to an airspace closure, it had to pass through Pakistan.

In this case, the Indian Prime Minister must obtain prior permission before entering Pakistan's airspace. 

The Indian Prime Minister will chair the third edition of the AI ​​Summit in Paris before heading to the United States on February 12.

Narendra Modi will meet President Donald Trump at the White House for the first time during his second term as Prime Minister.
