Fresh details from newly released Jeffrey Epstein files are putting sharper focus on Prince Andrew. Emails reportedly show the former royal passing official UK trade documents on to Epstein while he was in a government role.

The messages purportedly show Andrew Mountbatten-W Windsor, the king’s younger brother, forwarding confidential reports regarding Vietnam, Singapore, and other markets to Epstein in 2010. The documents had to do with foreign trips Andrew took as part of his work in the role of UK trade envoy.

These disclosures reopen questions about Andrew’s long-criticised friendship with Epstein – a relationship that cost him royal duties, military titles and his residence.

Now 65, Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing but has not replied to comment requests following the latest documents.

Trade envoys are meant to keep any sensitive government information to themselves, but the emails—part of a growing batch of Epstein-related court material in the U.S.—apparently show Andrew directly forwarding reports he had received through official channels.

The Metropolitan Police would not comment immediately on whether they might open an inquiry into the alleged disclosure of confidential material.

The revelations come amid a broader political crisis in the UK linked to Epstein’s network of influential contacts.

In the past week, the affair has drawn intense criticism of Prime Minister Keir Starmer for appointing Peter Mandelson-an Epstein associate-as UK ambassador to the United States.
