A massive power outage struck Spain, Portugal, and parts of France on Monday, disrupting daily life across the region.
In Portugal, authorities confirmed to local media that the blackout affected the entire country, with the disruption beginning in the late morning hours.
Similar widespread outages were reported across Spain, although the full extent remains unclear.
The blackout forced the temporary closure of key airports, including Madrid's Barajas International Airport and Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport.
