Hundreds of Muslims offered congregational Taraweeh prayers at New York City's Times Square on Sunday, marking the beginning of the Holy month of Ramazan.
Times Square is a major commercial area and tourist destination in midtown Manhattan in New York City.
SQ, a Muslim social media influencer, organised the event in association with Hoope Finesse and Najam Institue.
The Muslims attended the prayers while carrying the Palestinian flags in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
A large number of Muslims, including women and children, gathered for the special Ramazan prayers despite the freezing cold in New York.
Taraweeh prayers are performed in congregation during Ramadan after Isha.
