Three Arab families among top 5 as Bloomberg releases list of World’s 25 Richest Families for 2025

International magazine Bloomberg has released its list of the world’s 25 richest families under the title “World’s Richest Families 2025.”
According to the report, the combined wealth of the world’s 25 richest families increased by $358.7 billion over the past year, bringing their total net worth to $2.9 trillion.
The list also includes three influential and wealthy families from the Arab world: the Al Nahyan family of the United Arab Emirates, the Al Saud family of Saudi Arabia, and the Al Thani family of Qatar.
Bloomberg ranked Abu Dhabi’s ruling Al Nahyan family as the world’s second-richest family, with an estimated net worth of $335.9 billion.
Saudi Arabia’s royal Al Saud family secured third place on the list, with total wealth estimated at $213.6 billion.
Similarly, Qatar’s ruling Al Thani family ranked fourth in Bloomberg’s 2025 list, with an estimated fortune of $199.5 billion.
The Walton family of the United States, owners of the global retail chain Walmart, topped the list as the world’s richest family, with an estimated net worth of $513.4 billion.
