Tragedy struck on Tuesday as Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the president of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, was fatally shot by unidentified assailants in Jaipur, India.
The shocking incident occurred within the confines of his residence, with the entire episode captured on CCTV.
The assailants, who quickly fled the scene after the shooting, left Gogamedi wounded inside his home. In a disturbing turn of events, gangster Rohit Godara, associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder through a Facebook post shortly after the incident.
A distressing video recording reveals two individuals firing multiple shots at Gogamedi, leading to his collapse on the floor from gunshot injuries. Another person standing at the door was also targeted in the attack. Viewer discretion is advised due to the graphic nature of the footage.

Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital, Gogamedi succumbed to his injuries. Ajit Singh, who was present with Gogamedi during the assault, sustained serious injuries, according to officials.
Preliminary reports indicate that four individuals entered Gogamedi's residence and opened fire. Alongside Gogamedi, one of his security personnel and another individual suffered injuries during the shooting, as stated by Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra to news agency PTI.
The authorities are currently conducting a thorough investigation into this tragic incident.
