Crowd screams "Sania Mirza" at Sana Javed during PSL match

A few people from the crowd during PSL-9 match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans screamed the name of Shoaib Malik's ex-wife Sania Mirza in a bid to 'embarrass' and mock Sana Javed, the new wife of the allrounder. 

Cricketer Shoaib Malik tied the knot with actor Sana Javed on January 20 and unveiled the news to the world through the social media accounts. Sania Mirza in a statement released extended best wishes to Shohaib Malik on a new chapter of her life.  

Former Pakistan cricket team skipper Shoaib Malik's wife Sana Javed was in attendance during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Monday. Malik is currently playing for the Kings and Javed cheered on as the all-rounder scored a half-century for his franchise. 

In videos posted by fans on social media, Javed could be seen glaring at the spectators but on one instance, she even turned towards the crowd and waved as the chants continued.

Shoaib Malik broke the news of marrying actor Sana Javed in a post on January 20.

The Mirza family and team Sania in a post on Instagram said: “Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead.”
