In a surprising turn of events, a man in India revived a snake’s life by performing the life-saving technique known as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

After receiving information about the unresponsive reptile found in Vadodara, Gujarat, animal welfare activists rushed to the scene and performed the life-saving procedure, successfully reviving the snake.

Wildlife rescuer Yash Tadvi discovered a seemingly lifeless, non-venomous checkered keelback snake measuring about a foot long.

Despite its critical condition, Tadvi believed the reptile could be saved.

Bystanders captured the extraordinary scene of Tadvi administering CPR to the snake on their phones.

"When I went there, the snake was in an unconscious state. There was no movement, but I was confident that the snake would survive," he told the local media.

“So I took its neck in my hand, opened its mouth and tried to bring it back to consciousness by blowing into its mouth for three minutes,” Yash Tadvi added.

Despite two failed CPR attempts, the snake finally responded to the third, beginning to move and eventually regaining consciousness.

The entire rescue operation lasted three minutes, after which the revived reptile was entrusted to the local forest department in Gujarat.

The video quickly went viral, showcasing Tadvi's dedication to animal welfare.
