Woman finds “dead mouse” in Hershey’s chocolate syrup

A woman was left horrified as she discovered a dead mouse inside the bottle of Hershey’s chocolate syrup.

The disturbing incident took place in India, where a woman who ordered Hershey's chocolate syrup online was left disgusted after finding a dead mouse inside the bottle.

The woman, Prami Sidhar shared a video on her Instagram showing her shocking discovery of contaminated chocolate syrup from a well-known multinational confectionery brand.

She told the Indian media that some of her family members had unknowingly consumed the syrup before she found the dead mouse inside.

However, two of the girls who tasted the syrup showed no symptoms of illness, but another one fainted right after tasting it and was admitted to the hospital.

The buyer explained she had ordered the syrup to enjoy it with brownies. However, while pouring the syrup from the bottle onto their plates, they noticed a hair kept appearing.

In an attempt to fix it, she broke the seal of the bottle and poured the syrup into a glass. To her horror, she saw a large object that resembled a rat.

Wanting to confirm her suspicions, she washed the object to see if it was indeed a dead rat. Unfortunately, it turned out to be her worst nightmare.

The Hershey's Company contacted her to apologise and asked her to share the details and manufacturing code of the product she ordered online.
