Gold price falls by Rs5,900 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices witnessed a significant decline in Pakistan on Thursday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.
According to data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold fell by Rs5,900 per tola, bringing the rate down to Rs359,000. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold dropped by Rs5,058 to Rs307,784.
The decline comes a day after gold prices had increased by Rs3,700 per tola, reaching Rs364,900 on Wednesday.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $61 to settle at $3,363 per ounce, inclusive of a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
Silver prices also declined, with the rate per tola decreasing by Rs24 to settle at Rs4,057.
