Gold price surges to record Rs367,400 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices surged to a new all-time high in Pakistan on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold rose by Rs3,600 per tola, settling at Rs367,400. The rate for 10 grams also increased by Rs3,172 to Rs314,986.
“This is a new all-time high,” said Abdullah Chand, a representative of APGJSA. The previous record of Rs363,700 per tola was registered on April 22, 2025.
On Friday, domestic gold prices had closed at Rs363,800 per tola after an increase of Rs1,200.
In the international market, the yellow metal also witnessed an upward trend, with the rate climbing $36 to reach $3,447 per ounce, including a $20 premium, APGJSA data showed.
