Gold prices in Pakistan increase for second straight day

Gold prices in both domestic and international markets extended their upward trajectory on Tuesday, following a substantial surge the previous day.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,000 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs354,100.
Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of the same purity increased by Rs857, reaching Rs303,583.
On the global front, gold prices also edged higher, with the per-ounce rate climbing by $10 to settle at $3,357.
Silver prices followed a similar trend in the local market. The rate for one tola of 24-karat silver went up by Rs130, now priced at Rs3,586, while 10 grams of silver rose to Rs3,074.
