Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of direct flights to London from Lahore, following the resumption of operations from Islamabad.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the first flight, PK-757, will depart from Lahore for London on 30 March. Flights from Lahore will land at Terminal 4 of Heathrow Airport.

It is worth noting that the service is being resumed after a gap of six years.

London was among the earliest international destinations in PIA’s network. With the resumption of these flights, PIA’s total number of weekly services to the UK will increase to seven.

Before the suspension, PIA was operating 10 weekly flights from Pakistan to London. The airline plans to increase the frequency of London-bound flights gradually.

PIA has already announced the launch of three weekly flights from Islamabad to London, which will commence on 29 March.
