Cargo Plane Crashes Into Vehicles After Runway Excursion at Miami Airport

A Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft crashed at Miami International Airport after reportedly veering off the runway during landing, subsequently colliding with several vehicles and catching fire.

According to international media reports, the cargo plane had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico on Sunday before experiencing the accident while landing at Miami International Airport.

The aircraft reportedly left the runway and struck multiple vehicles on a nearby road, after which flames broke out on the plane.

Following the incident, all runways at Miami International Airport were closed and emergency procedures were activated. Fire and rescue officials told US media that several people were receiving medical treatment following the crash.

Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the accident and have not confirmed the total number of people injured.

Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed thick black smoke rising from the aircraft at the crash site.
