Renowned Pakistani fashion designer Mehmood Ahmad Tahir Bhatti, known internationally for his career in haute couture, is facing a serious legal challenge in Pakistan.

His alleged fourth wife, Humaira, has filed a maintenance suit against him in the Lahore Family Court, demanding Rs1 million per month in financial support.

According to court documents (Case No. 83041225), the suit was filed on March 6, 2025, under maintenance laws. Humaira claims that the two were married on March 10, 2022, in Lahore.

However, she alleges that Bhatti misrepresented details about his marital history in the marriage contract and failed to disclose divorces from three previous wives.

The petition states that after a short period of marriage, Bhatti began subjecting her to mental and emotional abuse.

Humaira further alleges that Bhatti evicted her from their residence six months ago and has since ignored her repeated attempts to resolve the matter.

She has urged the court to order regular maintenance, stating that she is now forced to live with her parents due to lack of support.

The case casts a shadow over Bhatti’s polished public image and brings attention to the personal turmoil behind his successful professional life.
