Firdous Jamal's wife files for divorce after 35 years of marriage

Veteran actor Firdous Jamal's wife has filed for divorce, seeking separation from her husband after 35 years of marriage, as confirmed by their son on YouTube.

In a YouTube video, Hamza Firdous explained that his mother divorced his father after 35 years of marriage because of ongoing family issues. Despite facing difficulties, she had hoped for a better future.

"My mother endured hardship, always hopeful for improvement, but things never changed," he explained.

Hamza's mother had asked him to avoid sharing the details of their separation and his father's strained relationship with the family.

He also mentioned about the harmful behavior of his paternal uncles, who not only caused emotional distress to the family but also abandoned them financially.

"They even went as far as stealing the files of a house I built after 18 years of hard work," he shared.

"We stood by our father when he was suffering from cancer, arranging expensive treatment, as it is a son's duty," he said, adding, "But since our father is portraying it as if we did nothing, I need to share these details."

The development regarding Firdous Jamal's wife's separation and his son's statement came after Jamal shared on a TV show that his life had become noisy and chaotic.

He expressed a desire for peace and solitude, preferring to live alone. Firdous Jamal also disclosed that he is currently residing in a rented house in Lahore.
