Over 60 percent Pakistanis believe that getting "enough sleep" is a challenge in the holy month of Ramadan, a recent survey revealed on Tuesday.
However, Pakistanis enjoy much relief in Ramadan, including short hours in job timings, but they complain that they are unable to sleep enough during Ramadan.
According to the survey conducted by Gallup Pakistan, at least 61% of people in Pakistan believe that they cannot take normal sleep duration, and it is a challenge for them to take enough naps.
Talking about the reasons, respondents said that they do have not enough time for sleep as they have to perform Namaz-e-Maghrib, Namaz-e-Isha and Taraweeh after Iftar.
The respondents added that they have to walk up at midnight for Suhoor, "therefore healthy nap is a challenge for them".
In contrast, at least 37 percent responded that they have healthy naps in Ramadan as well.
Almost 64 percent of women complained about lack of sleep, while 58 percent of men said that they did not get enough sleep during the fasting month.
