Saudi youth donates kidney to sister to relieve her from chronic pain

Osama Al-Dhamshi, a young man from the Hafar Al-Batin region of Saudi Arabia, donated his kidney to his sister in order to relieve her from constant pain caused by kidney failure.
According to Al-Arabiya, the young woman had been undergoing treatment for kidney failure at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center.
Osama Al-Dhamshi shared that after the doctors examined his sister's condition, they recommended that he donate one of his kidneys.
He mentioned, "After understanding the conditions and necessary tests for donating a kidney, I had no objections."
The kidney transplant surgery, which lasted four hours, was successful.
The young woman had been suffering from kidney problems for the past six years.
Earlier, a man gave triple talaq to his wife over WhatsApp after she told him that she donated a kidney to her sick brother. The wife lives in Uttar Pradesh’s Bairiyahi while her husband lives in Saudi Arabia.
Unaware of the fact that her decision to save her brother would be at the cost of her marriage, the wife donated her kidney to the ailing brother, NDTV reported.
