Actress Huma Saleem vows legal action against unnamed cricketer over 'harassment, threats'

Pakistani actress and model Huma Saleem has made serious allegations against an unnamed cricketer, claiming harassment, threats, mental distress, and attempts to damage her reputation.

She stated that she will soon present details of the matter and available evidence through her legal team before the relevant legal forums.

In an Instagram story, Huma Saleem claimed that she has had no contact or relationship of any kind with the said cricketer for the past two months.

Despite this, she alleged that she has continued to face harassment, threats, and severe mental pressure.

The actress said that whenever she attempts to move forward in her personal life and professional career, efforts are made through different tactics to force her to step back and subject her to further distress.

She further alleged that her family members, friends, and professional associates have also been targeted.

According to Huma Saleem, the cricketer contacted people from her professional circle in an alleged attempt to harm her character and reputation, causing unnecessary stress and difficulties for individuals associated with her work as well.

The actress stated that her patience has reached its limit and that she will no longer remain silent.

In her statement, she said, “I remained silent for a long time, but I have now decided to pursue legal action. At the appropriate time, my legal team will present all the facts and available evidence related to this matter.”

Huma Saleem also indicated that she may share further information regarding the issue in the coming days.

However, she has not named the cricketer in any of her posts, nor has she provided any indication that could reveal the identity of the individual involved.
