Known for his villainous roles and versatile performances, Adnan Shah Tipu expressed his deep affection for his hometown, Faisalabad, formerly known as Lyallpur, likening it to a place “more dear to him than heaven.”
While Tipu holds immense love for his beloved city, his comments stirred discomfort among social media users who urged him to be cautious while speaking, highlighting the sacred value associated with heaven in religious contexts.
Adnan Shah recently featured on a podcast, and a snippet of his interview surfaced on social media, shedding light on his career and fondness for his hometown, Lyallpur, now known as Faisalabad.
In response to a question, Adnan Shah Tipu emphasised the profound significance of the streets of Lyallpur, stating that “they hold unparalleled importance for him, surpassing even the allure of any other pleasant location.”
He expressed an unwavering connection to Pakistan, asserting that “regardless of one's whereabouts, the soil of this country remains a magnetic force pulling them back home.”
Tipu candidly stated, "If I have to choose between Lyallpur and heaven, I will choose Lyallpur."
A social media user maintained that “individuals may, at times, utter words and phrases without fully comprehending their implications.”
