Anwar Maqsood, a renowned figure in Pakistan's entertainment industry known for his scripting, hosting, satire, and humor, has dismissed recent reports suggesting he was abducted, tortured, and threatened by unidentified individuals.

Various posts on social media platforms circulated recently, alleging Maqsood's abduction and mistreatment, causing concern among his fan base.

Responding to these reports, Maqsood refuted them, labeling them as "false news." He urged his supporters to ignore such unfounded claims, highlighting that he neither maintains nor follows any social media accounts.

Maqsood revealed that he became aware of these rumors through phone calls from concerned individuals. He firmly rejected all such speculations and criticized those who propagate unverified information.

Maqsood said there are many fake accounts under his name running on social media.

Adding to the clarification, Maqsood's son, Bilal Maqsood, took to his own social media platform to address the rumors surrounding his father's alleged abduction. He assured everyone that there is no cause for alarm, as the reports are entirely fabricated.
