Court extends Aroob Jatoi's pre-arrest bail in gambling apps case

A sessions court has granted an extension in the interim pre-arrest bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in a case linked to the promotion of online gambling applications.

The bail plea was taken up by Additional District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi.

Jatoi appeared before the court as her earlier bail term had ended, but the prosecution did not present the case file as required.

The judge decided to extend her interim bail and instructed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to provide the complete record by Dec 22.

According to her petition, the NCCIA “wrongfully added her name to the case” and alleged she had supported her husband, a claim she denies.

Ducky Bhai was released last week from prison after a Lahore High Court bench granted him post-arrest bail in the case.
