Hareem Farooq reveals she launched Hania Aamir in showbiz

Renowned actor and producer Hareem Farooq revealed that she played a key role in launching Hania Aamir's career, who has since become a successful star.

Hareem Farooq recently appeared on a podcast where she mentioned that she has introduced many actors including Ahmad Ali Akbar, and Usman Mukhtar who are now household names. 

During the interview, the Sar-e-Rah actor was asked about her decision not to cast herself and introducing new talent in her first film, Janaan, despite investing money in the project.

She highlighted that there is often criticism when new faces are introduced by producers, adding that hindering new actors would not benefit her own career path. Instead, she finds it rewarding to contribute to the other’s growth.

Hareem Farooq maintained that everyone earns their own name and success. What matters most to her is the opportunity to shape someone's career.

She explained that her role as a producer allows her to not only develop her own filmography but also foster new talent in the industry.

The Siyaah actress gave the example of Hania Aamir, whom she introduced through the film Janaan. 

Farooq emphasised that she takes pride in the fact that the actress she introduced is now a rising star, making waves in the entertainment industry. 

"It's incredibly rewarding to know I have played a positive role in someone's life," she said.

Reflecting on her debut production venture, Hareem Farooq remarked that "Janaan" achieved remarkable success.
