Renowned actor Sonya Hussyn expressed her deep admiration and gratitude after a fan compared her to the late Bollywood legend Sridevi.
Responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram, which read, “One remembers Sridevi when looking at you,” Sonya replied, “We can never compete with her legacy. She was one of a kind, truly an iconic actress, but I am so grateful and humbled.”
In a previous interview, Sonya revealed that she had been offered a film alongside Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, but the project fell through due to strained relations between India and Pakistan after the Uri attack.
She also disclosed being approached for two other Indian films, including an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure and a sequel to a classic Bollywood movie.
The Tich Button starlet named Ali Zafar as her ideal co-star for a potential project and shared her perspective on relationships.
Sonya maintained that she would prefer not to marry an actor, stating, “Actors are self-obsessed. I think self-obsession should only be in one of us. When you’re so into yourself, you can’t pay attention to the other person.”
