“I’d be thrown out of my home if I tried to live as 'Mubashira' in real life”: Ayeza Khan

Acclaimed actress Ayeza Khan, known for her versatility and stellar performances in diverse roles, has garnered considerable praise for her negative portrayal in the ongoing drama "Mein." However, she clarified that her onscreen persona was strictly for the screen, as such behaviour wouldn't be well-received in real life.

A video went viral on social media, in which the 'Pyarey Afzal' actor indulged in a discussion of Mubashira’s portayal in ‘Mein’ while attending an event in London. 

When asked if her real personality mirrors her dramatic portrayals, on which Ayeza explained that her real life is a far cry from the dramatic world.

In the viral video, Khan clarified that her portrayal of Mubashira in the drama doesn't reflect her real-life persona. She emphasised that if she were truly like that character, she'd be ousted from her home.

As an actress, she strives to deliver performances that resonate authentically with viewers, despite the marked differences from her own life.

“I cannot behave like Mubashira in real life at all. I’ll be thrown out of the house,” said Ayeza.

she recalled her son’s reaction to the promo of ‘Mein.’

The 'Chand Tara' actor shared, “When the promo for 'Mein' dropped and my son saw my in Mubashira’s character, he got a little scared because  he has never seen me that angry before"

In the drama 'Mein,' Ayeza Khan took on the role of Mubashir Jaffar, a fierce woman, facing challenges in life due to her haughtiness and aggressive temperament.  After her divorce, she gets married to Wahaj Ali and falls in love with him to the extent that she is willing to sacrifice her own happiness for her husband's and arranges his second marriage with his ex.
