Renowned actor and plastic surgeon, Fahad Mirza shared a detailed account of his encounter with PTI founder Imran Khan, highlighting how ex-PM served as a source of inspiration in both his personal and professional life. Fahad expressed disappointment over the loss of Imran Khan's leadership in the country.

Mirza emphasised the importance of staying true to one's convictions while acknowledging the risks associated with expressing opinions in the current environment. While sharing his though in a podcast, He pointed out that “when the law, meant to be a citizen's support, becomes elusive, citizens become vulnerable.”

Mirza explained the profound impact Imran Khan's intellect and leadership style had on him during their first meeting.

He recounted, "When I met Imran Khan, we discussed Robert Frost. Can you imagine a Pakistani politician talking about Robert Frost. In the 6th standard, I read Frost's poem where he urges everyone to take the road less traveled. I remember it to this day because I believe in the same motto. Imran Khan quoted the same thing, and I was amazed to hear that because his and my guiding principles in life were the same.”

He highlighted Imran Khan's conviction and belief in his faith and capabilities. He said Imran Khan mentioned an example of how, "within ten years of the Prophet's passing, Muslims conquered the Byzantine and Persian empires, the superpowers of the world."

“It became clear to me that Imran Khan wasn't merely discussing physical freedom; rather, he advocated for a liberated mindset,” Mirza added.

Explaining that "everyone has a unique connection with God," Fahad maintained that Imran Khan demonstrated “the necessity to crush the limits of the mind, a principle he actively followed in his own life.”

Fahad elaborated on the former Prime Minister’s journey, according to him “a common man from Lahore without any exceptional talent, embarked on a challenging journey. He believed in his capabilities, urging the 77 percent youth of his country to believe in themselves and play openly until the last ball.”

He underscored the significance of a trained mind, stating that he continues to adhere to this philosophy in life.

Expressing his discontent with the prevailing governance system, Fahad Mirza lamented the authoritarian nature of the government, which has curtailed the political rights of the people.
