Juggan Kazim believes parents are encouraging their children to pursue divorce

The TV actor and host shared her insights into the complexities of relationships, shedding light on a growing societal phenomenon where parents advise their children to end marriages over minor inconveniences. 

During a recent interview, she delved into her experience with a second marriage and her divorce.

Drawing on her own experience, the actress stated, "While divorce is an undesirable decision, it is permissible but not a favourable outcome, as this choice impacts the entire family." 

She noted a shift from older times when extensive efforts were invested in preserving marriages. “During that era, women were often told that  only their funeral would leave their marital home.” she noted.

She maintained that in contrast, today, people  tend to make swift decisions to end relationships when they think that the differences are irreconcilable.

Juggan Kazim also opened up about her personal experience with divorce, stating that the decision profoundly impacts an individual. She emphasised the importance of “exerting every possible effort to sustain a marriage, only considering divorce when all attempts fail.”

Highlighting a shift in societal attitudes, she mentioned that while divorce was once heavily stigmatised, it's now more accepted, with “parents providing their children an easier way out” of troubled relationships. 

The ‘Agar’ actor suggested that parents might be facilitating premature exits from relationships instead of fostering a proper understanding.

Addressing her own journey into a second marriage, Juggan revealed that as a mother, she was concerned about her child's future. It took her six months to decide on a second marriage, during which she introduced her child to Faisal, her second husband, to ensure harmonious relations between the child and his stepfather.

In 2013, Juggan tiied the knot with Faisal H Naqvi, and the couple share a son and a daughter, while her older son Hamza is from her first marriage.
