Renowned American singer Kehlani, who has been a vocal supporter of Palestinians during Israel’s war on Gaza, has urged people to deepen their solidarity with oppressed nations by offering them financial support and job opportunities.

During a recent musical performance, Kehlani paused the show to address the ongoing injustices and human rights violations faced by occupied nations, many of whom are desperately seeking shelter and financial stability.

“I want to take a moment to say, free Palestine, free Congo, free Sudan, free Yemen, free Hawaii, free Guam. Beyond a ceasefire, we need an end to the occupation. It's deeper than this. I need everyone here, and everyone watching, to step up and use their voices,” she said.

Kehlani asserted that she is not a public speaker but uses social media to raise awareness about causes she cares about like other people and there are several meaningful ways to contribute.

She encouraged people to “wear keffiyehs, shop at Palestinian businesses, hire Palestinians, hire Congolese people, hire people from Sudan.”

“Send your money where it matters,” she added.

In a previous interview, Kehlani maintained that her support for Palestine was worth any professional sacrifices, and that "she finds peace in her convictions".

After releasing a pro-Palestine music video, she faced pushback on several brand deals that were anticipated following the release of her album "Crash."

“I’ve experienced a lot of loss. I’ve experienced a lot of things that were promised and set up for this rollout and album,” she revealed.
