Famous Korean Vlogger Daud Kim, who converted to Islam five years ago, announced to build a mosque in South Korea.

The news was shared by the YouTuber with his fans in an Instagram post.

“Finally, with your help, I have signed a contract for land to build a Masjid in Incheon,” he wrote in the caption.

“This place will soon become a mosque. I can‘t believe this day has come... I plan to build a prayer place and an Islamic podcast studio for Da’wah to Koreans,” Kim added.

Kim said that there will be many hardships come in the step but "he belives he can do it".

"Until the day when every street in Korea is filled with beautiful Azan. I will do my best."

The Korean YouTuber also urged his followers to support him financially in the noble cause.

In 2019, Daud, formerly known as Jay Kim, made a surprise announcement on his social media that he decided to change his faith to Islam. 

He lives in South Korea and has more than 3.5 million followers.
