MI detains five NCCIA officers for taking bribes from Ducky Bhai, anchor claims

Renowned anchor, Mansoor Ali Khan has claimed that Pakistan's Military Intelligence detained five National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) officers, reportedly including its Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz. These officers were allegedly found to have accepted bribes from Saad ur Rehman, also known as 'Ducky Bhai,' and others.
Mansoor Ali Khan further claimed that during the investigation of the Ducky Bhai case, Shoaib Riaz contacted Ducky Bhai’s lawyer and demanded a payment of Rs1.5 crore for his release.
Shoaib reportedly provided the contact details of his associates to facilitate the transaction. However, despite the payment, Ducky Bhai was not released, and the situation escalated.
Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry, who consistently claimed to maintain close connections and receive support from military intelligence. He has also been arrested by the intelligency agency.
The talk show host revealed that the Military Intelligence was also involved in Ducky Bhai’s arrest as the agency was monitoring his activities.

Upon discovering the alleged bribery and transactions, Military Intelligence initiated a covert investigation. The inquiry revealed the involvement of a network of individuals from NCCIA, accused of accepting bribes to facilitate the release of detainees.
Among those implicated are Deputy Director Usman and Inspector Irfan, whose jurisdiction primarily covers call center fraud cases. It has been reported that they received monthly payments amounting to several lakhs from call centers as well.
To date, five NCCIA officers have been arrested in connection with the case, investigation is undergoing, according to Mansoor.
While it is understood that these officers have been accused of accepting bribes, official confirmation regarding their admission of guilt has not yet been disclosed.
