‘My mother didn’t like him much:’ Minal Khan opens up about her marriage with Ahsan Mohsin

Renowned actor Minal Khan shared a personal story about her marriage to Ahsan Mohsin Ikram and spoke fondly of her late father, revealing how he supported her decision to marry Ahsan despite her mother's initial disapproval.

In a recent podcast, Minal opened up about the challenges she faced when she expressed her desire to marry Ahsan. She revealed that her mother was not initially in favor of the relationship.

Minal married her co-actor Ahsan Mohsin Ikram on September 10, 2021, in a love marriage. However, during the interview, she disclosed that when she first mentioned Ahsan to her mother, the response was a firm refusal.

"I told my father that I liked someone and wanted to settle down, but Aiman was already married, and Mama didn't like him too much," Minal shared adding that her father fully supported her decision.

"If you want to do it, I will get it done for you," Minal recalled her father’s words of encouragement.

Both Minal and her twin sister Aiman Khan expressed how supportive their father was throughout their lives.

According to Minal, it was her father who introduced both sisters to the entertainment industry, and thanks to his trust and hard work, they are now independent and successful.
