Bollywood's successful dancer, Nora Fatehi, has opened up about her practices as a Muslim, which according to her are obligatory for every believer of Islam.
Recently, she appeared on a podcast where the actress revealed she observed fasts in the holy month of Ramadan despite her busy schedule.
"I have been fasting since the age of 14, my parents told me about the importance of fasting from childhood and when I grew up I started fasting, then I realised how much fasts are important for us," she said.
"I used to go to school while fasting and till now I do all my work while fasting, I have had a habit since childhood, and that's why I don't find it difficult to work while observing Roza," the Dilbar dancer added.
Noora said that "fasting teaches us patience and discipline in every aspect of life, while prayer connects us with our God".
"When we offer the five daily prayers, it is the time when we thank the God who created us. We must pray for our protection and forgiveness in prayer and when we thank our God for His blessings, He gives us more," the Crakk actress said.
"Due to my busy schedule, I am not able to perform five daily prayers regularly, but I try to pray as much as possible."
