People get jealous when I post pictures with my husband: Nida Yasir

Renowned actor and host Nida Yasir observed that people often become jealous when she shares pictures with her husband on social media. 

However, the same envious trolls tend to rejoice if a couple faces challenges in their relationship, according to Nida.

During her morning show, the anchor slammed social media trolls for their unwarranted criticism and bullying, which she believes stems from envy.

"When you happily share a picture with your husband, people show their jealousy. And if they suspect any problem between the couple, they will become happy," she said.

Aside from that, the Nadaaniyaan actor asserted people often resort to negativity when others share joyful moments online, whether it's delightful news about a new home, car, or anything else.

“It seems they struggle to accept the happiness of others," she added. 

Nida said that she has become “troll proof” after experiencing excessive trolling on social media.

The popular morning show host has frequently dismissed online criticism as unwarranted.

Previously, when she shared a vlog documenting her spiritual pilgrimage of Hajj, trolls crticised her for showcasing her faith on social media.

Responding to the critics, Nida said that she prayed for the trolls during her Hajj, hoping that they would be blessed with a spiritual journey and stop wasting their time online.
