A local court has extended the interim bail of social media influencer Rajab Butt and his co-accused in a case related to alleged threats against TikToker Umar Butt.
The court has instructed the police to submit their investigation report at the next hearing.
During the proceedings, the defense lawyer, Junaid Khan, argued that the accused had already cooperated with the investigation and requested the court to confirm their bail.
The case was registered after Rajab Butt, Haider Ali, and Maan Dogar were accused of threatening Umar Butt during a TikTok live session.
According to the complaint, the suspects, accompanied by armed individuals, arrived at Umar’s residence and used abusive language. The police confirmed that legal proceedings were underway.
The dispute reportedly began after Umar Butt allegedly used offensive language against Rajab Butt’s family in a live video.
In response, Rajab defended his family and warned Umar and his brother, Ali Butt, against further personal attacks.
Rajab Butt, known for his family vlogs, has been involved in multiple legal cases, including a separate matter in Karachi.
The court has extended his bail until March 24, with police directed to present their findings in the next hearing.
