Saba Faisal reveals she used to stitch clothes for Kulsoom Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz

Veteran actress Saba Faisal revealed that she used to stitch clothes for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and her mother, Kulsoom Nawaz, before pursuing her career in showbiz.

Saba's revelation came during her recent appearance in a Ramadan transmission hosted by Nadia Khan and Aijaz Aslam.

“Before entering the showbiz industry, I had a clothing factory, and I had made dresses for Maryam Nawaz and Kuloom Apa,” she said in an interview.

Saba said that she was running a good business but her migration to Karachi prompted her to shut down a factory.

The Rehbra actress further said that she had done an Istakhara –a process to seek goodness from Allah – before closing her business.

"After six months of deliberation, I closed it [factory], she added.
