Renowned actor and model Iman Ali candidly disclosed her ‘favourites’ and ‘non-favourites’ within the showbiz industry, expressing her eagerness to participate in a film that boasts a compelling script alongside her favored co-actors.
Known for her unfiltered views, Ali recently appeared on a talk show where she highlighted actors she would prefer not to collaborate with.
When questioned about her departure from a drama scripted by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Iman explained her decision, citing Qamar's stubborn stance on script alterations that clashed with her comfort.
The ‘Bol’ actor recounted, "I requested changes in the script that made me uneasy, but he was unyielding. You cannot alter even a single word in his scripts.”
Iman revealed her most-cherished stars for on-screen collaboration, including film actors Farhan Saeed, Shaan, Humayun Saeed, Fawaad Khan and Nauman Ejaz.
When questioned about why she hasn't collaborated with her favourite co-actors yet, Iman responded, "I am open to working with them unless Khalil-ur-Rehman is the writer."
During the show, she was asked if there were any co-stars she preferred not to work with, Iman replied, "Yes, there are many, but I won't mention their names."
The host dropped hints, suggesting a name starting with 'F.' Iman clarified that Fawad Khan wasn't among those actors.
As more hints were provided, Iman acknowledged their accuracy, confirming that she had worked with both, and both remain ‘angry’ and pretentious.
A participant on the show chimed in, revealing the names as Fahad Mustafa and Feroze Khan. Iman laughed in response but chose not to elaborate further.
Iman Ali's film career took off in 2007 with her starring role in Shoaib Mansoor's 'Khuda Kay Liye,' which earned her the Lux Style Award for Best Actress. She went on to portray a supporting role in ‘Bol,’ sharing the screen with Humaima Malik, Atif Aslam, and Mahira Khan.
In 2015, Iman Ali took on the lead role in Anjum Shehzad's 'Mah-e-Mir,' opposite Fahad Mustafa and Sanam Saeed. She appeared in 'Tich Button' (2022), where she played the role of ‘Leena.’
